Alot of pain sufferers are on oxycontin. I was on it for quite a few months but decided to take myself off of it. I just could not take the way it made me feel. I am on Hydrocodone/Generic Lortab 10mg. I take 2 every 4 to 6 hrs. I take Ambien 10mg at night to try to sleep so I do not have to take the pain meds during the night. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I am also on Xanax 0.5 mg 1 to 2 tablets everly 8 hours. I also take Effexor 150mg at night. I am trying to stick with this until I go to Germany next year. I am planning on going there as soon as I can get the funds. I hope this answered some of your questions. By the way, I also have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Endometriosis with the adhesions. I have tried acupuncture and hypnosis along with the 3 lysis of adhesions (2 laparascopies and one laparotomy).
