I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. I can't answer all of your questions but wanted to give MHO about your doctor. If he is not wanting to do the surgery that tells me something about having him do the surgery in 3 months even if he wanted to. I think you need a surgeon who is of your same mind, who is really interested in making you pain free and who listens to you. I hope you find such a person and that you will be pain free soon.
