Dear Michelle, First, I would like to say I am sorry no one replied to your first post. We are all in the same boat with pain & pills. I honestly feel that going to Duisburg, Germany with Dr Korell and Spray Gel is the best hope. The spray gel has shown great results! I have to wait a min of 6 months after my open abdominal hernia repair surgery before I can return to Germany for more surgery. It cost about $5,500. depending on flights for surgery, 2nd look lap, hosptial, Dr fees, apartment/hotel type room right by the hospital and your meals. Most insurance will not pay for it since the spray gel is not FDA approved. The spray gel is available in Europe and in Austrailia. With good luck, it might be in the US in 2004. Helen Dylan can give you the steps you need to take to contact Dr. Korell. He is a wonderful surgeon & a wonderful man. 1st you need to get your medical records, he will want to see your surgical reports. It also can take up to 3 months to get a passport unless you put a rush on it & pay extra. I hope my information is helpful to you. robin M
