Hi Charlie,

Welcome to the board. It is a hard question to answer.... adhesions pain is determined by where your adhesions are, what organs they are attached to and how it is affecting those particular areas and how long ago your trauma, surgery or infection was.

This site has some excellent information on the different types of adhesion tissue in the FAQ's section.

The description you are giving could be adhesions, while others might think it sounds more like nerve damage.... naturally we can only answer your questions based on our own personal experiences.

My adhesions pain was progressive and with each additional surgery I found that the pain went from being intermittent and compared to my worst pain, really - not too bad to cope with... most of the time. BUT after each subsequent surgery the pain levels changed.

Mine ranged from tugging, pulling, stinging, burning, aching, stabbing, pins & needles to deep aches with referred pain into my groin and down my legs. So I am sorry I can't give you a better answer than that Sarah, but I hope this helps.

Love & warm gentle hugs, Jo
