I also had a hyst, in January of 2001. She helped herself to everything but my right ovary.
No need for it, but it's done.
She placed Interceed as an adhesions barrier, but it didn't work.
I had gone from Dr. to Dr. begging them to do CT scans, and etc.
The 2 CT scans were done within a week, and don't show adhesions, but can show if something is pulled way out of shape by them. I had been refused treatment by the gastro who sent me to the gyn who cut me. He told his office staff, including the other gastros, not to even take an emergency call from me, as I called the office in excess, as well as after hours. Told me to see a shrink or he may drop me as a patient.
Even after he knew I was cut and have adhesions.
Some Drs. over - test, and some tell us we're mental.
There are many days I get to the end of my rope, too.
The only sure way to diagnose adhesions is to do surgery, which worsens the problem, if it already exists.
I pray I won't need more surgery.
