I also had my gall bladder removed 2 years ago, same thing happened to me, my
doc - gastro - here in Michigan referred me to a gastro doc at University of
Indiana in Indianapolis, they did an ERCP, and discovered I have "Sphincter
of Oddi Dysfunction" - they have performed 3 sphincterotomies on me, but I
still suffer with the pain. This is the muscle that controls the flow of
bile from your liver into your intestines, and my keeps closing and they keep
opening it up (it's done endoscopically) I've been told it cannot be
performed again, so I live with the pain when it spasms. Suggest this to
your gastro doc and see if they would investigate it for you. Good luck!
