I'm totally confused. When you're referring to an open lap, you must
mean an open laparotomy, not laparoscopy, right? There is such a thing
as a open laparoscopy too. At least, I think so. As explained by an
University of Iowa ob-gyn to me, it's safer when you have dense
adhesions because they can see where the scope is placed. Maybe
somebody can clarify this. Marilyn P.S. I wouldn't be caught dead in a
bikini. I have scars everywhere, as well as fat!!!!!
