Browkenwing,
Unfortunately I just had surgery July 29 to remove
adhesions attaching my pancreas to my colon &
intestines & I'm still having the same pain in my
ribs, side, & back that I had before surgery. The Dr.
used Seprafilm but I don't think it helped me. I had
my gall bladder out 3/22/00 this was my only other
surgery on my abdomen. I started having pain in Jan.
of 2000 & I've been in pain ever since. I believe
adhesions can form anywhere in your body where there
has been trauma. I know how you feel, my life has
totally turned upside down over the last 3 yrs..
Because I look & act normal I was treated like a nut
by most of the medical community I came in contact
with because all my tests were "NORMAL". My employer &
health insurance co. have treated me like I'm a fraud
& a faker. It has been so frustrating trying to find
pain relief. I wish you the best of luck.
Take Care,
Rita in AZ
