Jo, is doing well considering. The first couple of days as you know are up and down, so far I can tell you that since no saline has been used to extend the abdominal wall, Jo did not experience bloating and the pain associated with that :-). Over the last day or so since she started moving around her pre-surgery leg pain has become more evident.
Jo felt pain in the upper stomach area even after a considerable amount of laxatives, an X-ray this morning that showed a blockage still remained in the small bowel so the focus continues to relieve that and free up the bowel.
Still some surgery pain, so we are still waiting for that to settle for a truer picture. Pain medication has also been reduced to assist with the bowel and withdrawal.
Jo remains optimistic and keen to compare her two recent surgeries and their outcomes.
