Dear Cathy It does sound like possible adhesions. My pain is more when I am up & around & less when I am laying down. Laprascopic surgery is very easy. They put gas in your abdomin to inflate it to be able to see what they are doing. It is also out patient surgery & very easy to recover from as apposed to open surgery. I wish you luck. You have found a good place to get lots of information. robin M
