While you're at the Rest Ministries website, take a look at Hopekeepers. Some time ago, someone from Seattle, Washington told me she had started a Hopekeepers support group in her church. Is this something you and/or your church can do? You will never know unless you ask. I couldn't resist saying: " God helps those who help themselves." That is so true, isn't it!!
I haven't taken the time to check out what is involved in setting up a Hopekeepers support group; but maybe one of you will have the time to - and then post a brief message regarding the protocol is for forming a Hopekeepers support group. You may be the only person who is suffering from ARD; but you are not the only person who suffering from chronic illness or pain.
One last thought: The best pain management program is multidisciplinary!! A Hopekeepers support group would certainly be the best source for satisfying the emotional and spiritual needs!!
