Well Brenda,
I have lots of questions you could also ask your doc. First is he the same
doc that did the surgery to remove your ovaries?? I think I would want
someone else if he is.Secondly if he did do surgery what is his plan to keep
this a closed surgeryand what kind of adhesion barrier does he plan on
getting to use for you?? I know these are harsh questions but to put your
care into the best thing for you<you have to implement what kind of care you
want, to get the best possible result for you. If he doesn't want to discuss
the adhesion barrier he may not know enough to help you . You may have to
look into someone who is willing and capable to help you. I know I had what I
thought was a very good Obgyn here and he did alot for me wrote off parts of
my bill and all.But when I found this site and started handing him stuff I
knew he just backed out and said I am a fertility specialist not a adhesion
specialist and I think you need someone else. And I admired him for telling
me this so I could search for someone who did have a high interest in
adhesions and the possibility of helping me.So I am sharing what I know with
you and if you need more info on adhesion barriers and other stuff maybe we
can assist you. I saw some doc was experimenting with Spraygel in the US and
I think that is the best adhesion barrier. You may want to look into that and
make sure they study how to use it . I am here for you if you need I will do
what I can for you. I am just a week postop myself but my brains are starting
to turn again.
Love and Best wishes
Lillian
