Hey girls:

There are 5 time zones in North America - 6 if you want to count Newfoundland. They are as follows:

Newfoundland - 12:00 midnight Atlantic - 11:30 p.m. Eastern - 10:30 p.m. Central - 9:30 p.m. Mountain - 8:30 p.m. Pacific - 7:30 p.m.

So, with the kids chat starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time, that would be at 6 p.m. Mountain time. Jo is in Eastern Australia, which is 13 hours ahead of my time here in Atlantic Canada, so she would be 16 hours ahead of Kelly in Mountain time - when it is midnight on Thursday Mountain time where Kelly is, it is already 4 p.m. Friday where Jo is.

Does that explain it all for everyone?

Love you all,

Nancy in NB
