Dear David, I don't have any advice for you on your upcoming surgery, but I wanted to wish you luck and to let you know you are in my prayers. Take care and let us know how you are doing. Your friend, Jan

I have been diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. My surgeon is perfoming laprscopic surgery for the removal of my right kidney. Has anyone had this procedure performed? I was scheduled to have the kidney removed the old way, so to speak. They would cut my back muscle and remove the 11-12th rib. I recently had an appendectomy. Should laproscopic sugery be the route to take? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

david, West virginia
