Hi all my honey bunnies! ") (I already told Joey this story, so it's a
repeat Joey....tee eh)
I got to DRIVE my car today! Just me and my dog McGraw! I think he was a
little scared cause he never looked up, he just laid on the passenger seat
with his eyes closed. I know he wasn't sleeping cause when I looked down at
him he shut his eyes. I laughed so hard because each time I looked
down.......he would shut his eyes! I said to him, hey - Mommy's driving
isn't that bad - then just as I finished that sentence, he let out this huge
sigh. I was laughing so hard I had to pull over cause my eye's watered up.
LOL Only my pets ya know! ")
But the freedom of being able to drive my car after being stuck inside after
surgery is awesome!
Most of you know I work for a police station, as I passed the town where I
work, I saw one of the Police Officers - I looked down at my MPH and realized
I was doing 10 MPH over the speed limit. He put his lights on and I smiled
as I pulled over. He took one look at me and said, I thought it was you. I
said, yep, it's me and if you write me up a ticket I'm not going to type out
your reports. tee eh He laughed.......
So that was my first car drive after surgery and it was wonderful! OK, now
it's time for a nap. All that driving wore me out. ")
