Hello! I haven't been on this board for a long time and have forgotten
the name of a doctor/institute that is somewhere back east - I think it
might have been Georgia or the Carolinas? I'm not quite sure about the
state, sorry! Anyway, I recall that there was a hospital and a certain
doctor affiliated with it who specialized in treating adhesions and
endometriosis. I'd heard that they took all the proper precautions when
removing adhesions and endo, and that they treated their patients like
gold. Does anyone remember the name of this doctor and/or hospital? My
endo has progressed to a point where I may have no choice but to have a
hysterectomy. I have massive adhesions and have been declared
'inoperable' by several other surgeons. However, my quality of life has
become so poor that I have to take that risk. I want to have the best
doctor that I can. I'm out in the Phoenix, Arizona area and was hoping
that the doctor back east could recommend someone here. Worst case
scenario is that I would have to fly out to that hospital in the east
but I don't think I would tolerate travel very well, especially after
the operation. Also, other surgeons have warned me to expect
complications, so my best bet is to stay as close to home as possible.
If anyone can give me the name and website of that doctor, or could
recommend someone near me, I would *greatly* appreciate it - THANK YOU!!
