Re: does the new surgery by Dr Raden or Dr. Korrell work?

Hi Flick, I had my gallbladder removed 2 yrs. ago 3/22/00. I've had nothing but chronic pain since. I was told I would feel like new in 2 weeks! You can read my story on the Adhesion Quilt under Rita Steele. It seems I'm one of the few suffering from upper abdominal pain instead of lower. I've been on disability since 10/04/01, but my employer has fought me on this every step of the way. Not working has helped keep my pain bearable most days, nights are still very painful. When I was working my right arm, hand,& side were constantly in motion, this really kept my body inflamed. The pain would radiate around to my back & into my shoulder just like having a gallbladder attack. I was a physical & mental wreck! Most Drs. have treated me like I'm a lunatic. I recently went to a surgeon in Phoenix he is sending me to a gastronologist on 6/12/02, he thinks I could still have a blockage in my ducts or pancreas despite all my tests coming back "NORMAL". If this is the case I'll probably have an ERCP done. I'm currently giving myself a Liver Flush. I did a different one before I had my gallbladder removed & passed at least 40 stones. No Drs. believe me, of course(except my chiropractor who gave me the recipe). I'm hoping this will work & remove any gallstones I have left in my liver & the pain with it. I have similar symptoms except I get mid to upper back pain. My ribs feel like I was in a boxing match when I get up every am. I haven't found any medication that helps with the pain, Drs. just want to give me anti-depressants! I wish I could be of some help but as you have read I'm still searching for my own answers.
