Teresa Hadley, (As well as anyone else in or around Alabama) I know this post was not neccessarly for me and I normally do not post very much but I noticed that you were looking for a doctor in Alabama. I am from Birmingham, Alabama. I have used several doctors here but have only found one that has been compasinate and willing to find out the real reason for my pain. He is Dr. C. Paul Perry at Brookwood Medical Center. He is a Pelvic Pain Specialist and did removed my scar tissue through a Lap in February, as well as repair two hernia's and discover my IC(Bladder disease). Now, I haven't called it successful yet because I have other problems that interfer with knowing whether or not he has gotten rid of the adhesions or at least most of them. I also have Interstitial Cystitis(IC); a diesease of the bladder that also causes chronic pain. My story is a little longer than I can write right now; as usual I am in to much pain. You can read my story on the Adhesions Quilt under Christy Slatsky. Anyway.. I have been very pleased with him so far and hope he will be able to get me to a pain free day soon.
