I'm sorry that you are so sick and in bed. Welcome to the International Adhesions forum. Here you will find many other people who are willing to help you and answer your questions. We are not doctors, just fellow adhesion sufferers all "sticking" together to support each other in dealing with the pain and lifestyle restrictions that we face.
Please, look around the site and read as many stories on the quilt as you can. You will find that you are not alone. There are many others who understand what you are dealing with.
Were the bowel obstructions that you had caused by adhesions, or something else (like crohn's disease)? Is the duragesic patch helping you? Does your Dr have you on any medication to help lower your blood pressure?
Barbara, if you have any questions, just post them and we'll try to help you any way that we can. Even if you just need to chat with someone or rant about the pain etc., we are here. Please, don't be shy.
