Dear Sally, you would miss your animals if you got rid of them. Our kids raise animals for the county fair. We usually get them in April & have the fair in late September. You really get attached to them during that time & I miss them afterwards. We resently got a 3 yr old chihuwa/rat terier mix & a red healer mix puppy. Already I am attached. Recently I also lost 2 cats. We live in the country & I loose a couple of cats a year. We have cyoties & I heard the bears are out too because there isn't enough food in the mountains. I only have 3 cats now. The oldest is almost 11. Lambs are hard to catch, you might try animals that are a little easier. I am happy to hear you are doing so good & feeling no pain right now. love, robin
