Just had to respond to this one. Intergel was approved for use and came out
on the market here in hte USA in February. It was approved only for
gynological procedures as a preventative. The FDA approval was very specific
about that. It is not for those of us who have had total hysterectomies and
are suffering from adhesions. You can go to the FDA web site and read the
approval letter and stipulations. I am a nusing student and had a tough time
really interpreting it. Lifecorp had sent an info packet to my surgeon who
told me it wasn't approved for woman in my situation. What they seem to have
forgotten is that most woman get their adhesions from haveing previous
gynological procedures! So close and yet still so far! Spraygel is 2-3 years
away for us more than likely. Maybe it would help to contact our congressmen
and maybe they can help push the FDA a little faster. Can't hurt and maybe
worth a try!
