Hi Robin:

I sent you a reply this morning but it never showed up so I'm trying again...

As I'm in Canada, I don't really know much about how your system works down there. The only thing I could come up with was what if you got all available info from Dr Korell (his expertise, his record with Spragel if he has one, any reports on Spraygel itself etc) and took all this to those three Drs who said they wouldn't operate on you. Maybe, I know it's a long shot, one of them would recommend that you have the surgery with Dr Korell, and then your insurance would agree?

Its not much of a suggestion, I guess, but I just hate seeing you discouraged. I know how much you were looking forward to the surgery. Karla's vacation idea has a lot of potential.... I hope that it somehow works out for you, and that you can get better meds in the meantime.

Hugs, Clare
