Robin's trip to Germany

Hi Robin,
I was very sorry to read that your insurance company did not approve the
trip to Germany. I still, well it has only been about one year, but
still am amazed that insurance companies will pay for almost anything in
the US, but try going to see a specialist in another country, and NO
WAY. I had five surgeries ;ast year, three for adhesions, well totaled
over 30,000, and just think, one trip to Germany is about a fifth of the
cost. Go figure!
Is there anything else you can do? I saw you did fund raisers, any other
ideas? I wish I knew of something, or someone for you to turn for help.
Hang in there, and can you try an appeal with your own insurance
company? Maybe higher up on the food chain. Do not give up, I know
something will happen. How about Dr. Redman in Oregon? Just a thought,
he is supposed to be good, and I think he accepts insurance.
