So easy for a doctor to say "just live with it." This rib pain is debilitating and has ruined my life. How would he like to walk around feeling as though a knife were sticking him in his side and being shoved in and out until I roll in a ball in the bed screaming and kicking. Even with the best pain medication around, nothing can control this pain and it's getting worse and worse where I practically can't do anything without breakthrough pain. Some days have to be spend lying in bed all day with the heating pad on my rib and I'm so sick of it taking over my whole life. There has to be an answer somewhere for us, but I'm certainly at a loss as to whom to listen to; what kind of doctor to see, to have surgery or not. I'm going nuts trying to figure out if I need a surgeon, nuerologist, a nerve block, a radio installed, etc. /
