My dear Dawn, I'm sorry you are feeling poorly, I guess we're all in the
same boat, I'm so tired. We had twin lambs born in the middle of the night
to a new mom, first time. She didn't really have a clue. I heard them
bleating LOUDLY around 4/5 a.m. and got up to investigate. I tried to get
Sunny up, but he just rolled over and kept sleeping. Anyway, it was fun. I
drove to the pasture, and she had licked off the babies, one black and one
white, and then figured her job was done, so she sat down. The lambs knew
there was more. They wanted that warm milk even if they didn't know what it
was, anyway, when she saw me she mellowed out and got up and let them
suckle. It was so cute. Their little tails were wagging back and forth.
I hope you are feeling better even though that's a stupid thing to say
cause I know you are hurting just like me. But we have to try to make
believe its okay, I think. Too much thinking. Love and hugs, Sally
