My adhesions started because of my 1st c-section in Oct 83 about a month later, but at that time wasn't too bad, 13 months later I had another c-sectionin Nov 84, then 9months later, aug 85, the pain was really bad & I had surgery, finding the adhesions for the 1st time. Then, almost 3 years later, july 87 I had another c-section. I had a lot of cramping during that pregnancy. I am now thinking that maybe it was the adhesions causing the pain & not premature labor pains for 8months. Although I did have spotting too, so I am not really sure. I think it depends on the person, if they can handle the pain or not. I know you can have adhesions & get pregnant, but my pain wasn't too bad while I was pregnant. I am now working on fund raisers to help me earn enough money to return to Dr Korell in Germany. He is using the spray gel & at this time, I think he is my best hope of becoming adhesion free. I hope this information is helpful. robin
