Hi Mary Lou

If you can find a good pain management center, they have many alternatives to treat pain. Nerve pain has many options I have seen. >From the TENS you mentioned to Sympathetic Nerve Blocks. Persons
suffering from phantom limb pain have had very good success with that one I guess. Every person and their condition is very different. You need to find a good Dr. who listens and will stick with you until you find a better solution. Be careful not to overdo the OTC pain relievers. More people are injured internaly from over use of those than of Narcotic drugs each year. I learned this fact while doing a research paaper on drug abuse.

Hang In There. The pain is part of your day, it doesn't have to control it.
