Hi, my name is Joey; I am Christy Slatsky husband. She wanted me to
give yall an update on her surgery. She came home yesterday and is
still real sore. The had to put 7 holes in her to move the Laparoscopy
around. She had 2 hernia's and a lot of adhesions. She had an
imbilical hernia & a ventrical hernis(which was the biggest- it took up
most of her stomach. The ovarvain remenats that the doctor had
suspected where not remenants; they were fluid filled sacs in the
adhesions. She had adhsions from right below her rib cage all the way
down her stomach. Simply she was covered in adhesions. The doctor
fixed her hernia's. She also has something called Interstital Cystitis.
This will take a while to treat but she has already started on her
medicine for it. She is very groggy and sore. Sleeping & walking alot.
She wanted me to make sure I told you all that you are in our prayers.
