Hi Libby & Em, I am also from Washington State, Bellevue. I was told I needed a hystorectomy 4 years ago, no mention of adhesions, I had never heard of them. A week after I went home I ended up back @ same hospital with a complete ilius and obstruction. Fast forward to now with at least a dozen partial obstructions, too many trips to the ER to count, and an emergency surgery to clear an obstruction 2 years ago. I have now decided to try pain management, through a doctor at Virginia Mason pain clinic. I had my first appointment 2 weeks ago. She wants me to try neurontin. I've taken it once, the night before last and it made me sick, I know you are supposed to work up to the right dose but I don't know if I can tolorate it. I am once again feeling like I am at the end of my rope. Would love to hear from fellow sufferers here in Washington. You can e-mail me at mzkid@msn.com Libby, you are pretty close to me, who do you go to? Em, I would be very interested to hear who you found in Edmonds. Take care, Meg
