Hi everyone,

I found this website awhile ago, but finally decided to jump on the message board. Here's my story...

I'm 19 years old. I had one lap in August for pain. My doctor found adhesions due to PID and cut them out. About two months later, I was in constant pain again and the doctor ignored me and basically told me I was crazy. He referred me to pain managment and I ignored him and found another gyn. Well, she was of no help to me either. She, too, referred me to pain management...and I went. The doctor put me on Neurontin and it hasn't been helping at all.

I went to see my primary doctor yesterday and told him what was going on. He couldn't believe all the crap I have been through. He told me I probably have a lot of adhesions since the doctor didn't use any kind of barrier. He also said I have all the symtoms of endometriosis and that the doctor might not have seen it at the time of the surgery or didn't look in the right places. He referred me to a specialist who I will see in a couple weeks. They will end up doing another lap too. My pain is so horrible and so constant. It is very deep in the pelvis, very low, and mostly under my incision scars. I also have bowel problems, but not GI related.

I guess I just came here to get some support and to meet other people who are going through the same thing.

Sincerely, Susan
