Helen, I am only on 20 mg a day with nothing for break through. That may be a pretty low dose. I just went back to the dr. on the 2nd of January and I was o.k. with the pain level. Just in the past week it has gotton awful. It feels like a fist is inside my vaginal area twisting and pulling. I think it must be the intestines "glued" on down there so when the intestines move it hurts. So, I guess I will go back to the doc next week for an adjustment. I do go to Albuquergue in a week to a Uro-Gyn. for my bladder problems. I was hoping after the surgery in Pa in May, I would feel good but.... On the subject of Oxycontin, like I said before I like taking it as it doesn t make me feel like I am in another world and I can focus pretty good at work on it. You wouldn't have built up a tolerance of Oxy in such a short time, so
perhaps your pain is getting worse. I know that I was on it for close to a
year before mine had to be upped, but I had also felt that my pain was worse
Also, a lot of people on oxycontin are given a breakthrough medication
like tylox (hydrocodone) for breakthrough pain. I don't know what dosage
you are on or how many you are allowed daily, so it's hard to say if you're
on enough to take away your pain.

Jo just posted about her dosage and how her doctor decided on the amount she
should be on and it was determined by how many breakthrough pain pills she
had to take. You should be able to find it easily as I know it was in the
last few weeks.

Love,

Hell-yun
