Although I only take a Vicodin 10 mg every few days or so, I used to be on 60mg MS contin, Vicodin 10 mg (up to 10 aday) and Equagesic (up to 6 aday). Everyone is different. Take what you need to take to control your pain. You are the only one that really knows how much pain you are in & how much meds it takes to keep the pain under control. Robin
