Dear Jean,

I totally agree, you never know who to believe with different Drs, giving you different answers, it's totally frustrating.!!! Happy thanks giving

Helen G., I have a calcified artery of my Iliac Artery of my left leg (which is also my bad side for back, hip problems & Abd. adhesions) and was told "but that wouldn't be causing your pain".....so go figure! So far none of these things have been the so-called cause of my pain and disability according to doctors. Never know what or who to believe!!!

I don't think these doctors listen to us with their ears open! JEAN

Hi to all, I hope that your week has been going well, and welcome to all the new people on the board.

What a week I have had!!, and thankyou to everyone for their kind words. I went to see my surgeon on Monday for my post op appointment, and I told him that I was still in pain and that my leg pain had returned and my right hand sided pain hadn't gone away at all. We were talking about the operation and I'm sure that in hospital he had told me that their were no adhesions on my right side, so I said if there are no adhesions on my right side what's causing the pain?, he said Oh there are adhesions there, but I didn't remove those ones, I didn't think they would be causing you too many problems... this is after I told him before the surgery to make sure and have a good look on the right hand side because I was getting alot of sharp pain their!!! So what a big waste of time...he's left half the adhesions in their. So at least now I know that I'm not going crazy !! LOL, but I'm disappointed to know that he didn't remove them all. With the other pain that I'm experiencing still, he thinks it may be nerve damage or vascular pain, and he wants me to see a back specialist to see if my back may be causing some of the problems, he doesn't think that the adhesions would have formed enough in 3 weeks to be causing the pain that I'm experiencing. So I'm back to square one yet again, he did mention that perhaps pain management might be the way to go, and if it's nerve damage then there's not much that can be done. Has anyone heard of Vascular pain? Just interested to know, he said to take my pulse when the pain is bad and see if it's in sync with the throbbing pain that I get. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest

Love Helen G
