Hi Collette:

I'm new to this forum, but wanted to wish you the best for tomorrow. I had a laparotomy (9"scar) for a large ovarian tumour, and that surgery may have resulted in the adhesion pain I have now, so I think you are very wise to hold off on the large surgery for now. Sometimes the surgeon can tell if it's cancer by how it looks, but they always send it to pathology. My doctor had a "frozen section biopsy" done during the surgery so that he was absolutely sure what he was dealing with right the and there. My tumour was benign, and surprisingly enough, I had most of the symptoms of OC. I hope this info. puts your mind at ease. Just writing this has made me wonder why I'm whining about my pain when I should be thanking God for my biopsy results! Please don't worry, God will be with you along with all our thoughts and prayers. Best wishes.
