Dear Cheryl,

Grieving for your doctor is a normal part of life, of-course you would feel down after something like that! There is no shame in how you feel, although, now you must look after you, find another caring and compationate doctor, so that you can enjoy a special weekend or two yourself!

I hope you are able to make some special time for you soon, :-) and thank you for the birthday cheer, actually I am sitting up in my bed, surrounded by soft pillows, I had a bad night last night...today is my birthday, but it's ok...I am still doing something I love....and that is sharing my time and thoughts with all my friends here.

A good way to start enjoying each day is to look at the little things, a smile from a family member or a friend, enjoying the beauty of a garden, or a view close to your home. I use a gratitude journal, and some days I have a hard time finding something to be grateful for...but some of the healing...is in the looking...

warm gentle hugs & love to you Cheryl

Jo (Australia)
