Wow, it surprises me that you haven't heard of pethadine! Perhaps it has another name in the States, I will have to look it up for you. It is the drug most often to be administered after surgery etc.
I was pleased to read that you had medical practitioners with hearts! Doesn't it make a difference when Doctors & nurses care how you are feeling, and how much pain you are in!
I hope the anti-nausea meds work for you, I'll keep my fingers & toes crossed... it will make it difficult to walk, but hey! What are friends for???? LOL
