To Karla from Sally

I was wondering who Michael Hammond was, but dear Karla, I'm glad it was you. We have one pygmy angora goat, as cute a creature as you can find. Unfortunately goats are trouble. They jump and climb and eat the garden and generally get out of the pasture and get on guests cars, etc. So one is good; it stays with the llama and sheep who are too timid to go anywhere.

I am feeling a little better. I'll try to sit here for a little while but I don't understand why I can't sit now, I've always been able to in the past.

And believe it or not, Bodega Bay is still hours and hours south of us. Califronia is a long state and Highway One is so winding that its twice as long as it should be. But isn't it beautiful? I hope you were well enough to enjoy the trip and didn't have to stop and be "indisposed" a lot. Love and hugs, Sally
