I take Prilosec for my stomach, Nexium is a newer form of it but I don't know what the difference is suppose to be. Prilosec is also expensive so I don't know if it is less than Nexium or not. I only have to pay $25 with my insurance no matter what prescription and I get 2 months of them for that. Worthy checking out! JEAN
