Dear Linda, You could very well have adhesions and even if you went to the doctor they have no way of knowing unless they do a laproscopic operation (going in with a little thin pencil like thing which has a camera, cutting tools, suction, etc.

There is no definite time period when you are supposed to stop feeling pain from your operation especially since all operations and their causes and the bodies concerned are different. Lets hope you don't have adhesions, but if you do, its not the end of the world. Most of us here on the board have adhesions and manage to live even though we have to make modifications to our lifestyle because of pain, etc.

The good news is they are not malignant ( at least in the traditional sense of the word) Sorry to be so sarcastic. Please go to the http://www.adhesions.org site and start reading. Read old emails especially from Helen Dynda. Good luck and come back. We'll be here. Love, Sally
