Chinese medicine is awesome! I couldn't agree with you more! Both my husband & I have used chinese herbal therapies & totally believe in all forms of chinese medicine. Like you, we ran out of money, as there is no rebate for this type of treatment with the Australian health system called "Medicare". Those fortunate enouh to have private health insurance can sometimes claim a small portion back, but not enough for it to make a difference.
I have just written a long response to someone on the board about pain medication. I have come to the conclusion that pain meds are necessary to allow me to be an active participant in my own life! My view is that pain meds are a temporary measure, useful until I am able to control, reduce or eliminate pain from my life.
