Lite or Healthy Malt

The following are my recipes to get a healthy dose of both soluble and insoluble fiber each day. Take it as JFC Lite or JFC Healthy Malt. They both taste good. First, get pure unflavored psyllium and finely ground Miller's wheat bran. These are available from Peggy's Silver Spoon at the West Shore Farmers' Market, Lemoyne, PA 17043. Her e-mail address is mharder@aol.com. Peggy has a wide assortment of various brans. She is the only one in our area who handles finely milled wheat bran and pure psyllium, and at the best price. She is also a very sweet person and I have no financial tie to her business. Health food and nutrition stores are other sources.

[]] JFC Lite

* Psyllium, unflavored - one heaping tablespoon

* Miller's wheat bran, finely milled - one heaping tablespoon

* Crystal Lite powder - to taste

* Add at least 6 oz of water, stir vigorously and drink. Follow by 4 oz of water.
