Hi gidge, I had the Barium Enema to look for adhesions and to check my colon. The GI specialists said he would be able to know if adhesions were there. He was wrong, said there weren't any there-that it was all in my head. When I was finally convinced a doctor to open me up again there were indeed dense adhesions (among other things).
