Dear Alice, Avoid adhesions at almost any cost. I would chose to have a baby and still have adhesions, but nothing else. Adhesions are to be avoided like the plague. They can be a life of constant pain, even though you look fine, nobody understands. Invitro fertilization sounds good compared to a life where you can't even pick up your baby because it hurts too much. Believe me, if your doctor thinks you are at risk for adhesions, listen and don't do anything to get them. Love, Sally
