Lesa,

Isn't it interesting to know that doctors are human and have their 'own' pet theories. I have recently changed internists because my (female!) doctor (from another country) evidently thought that American women are just whiny. My new internist got my records from the old......she actually had in my chart that I was a depressive attention seeker! If it wasn't for the support I got from this site, my psychiatrist and my therapist, I would never have thought to question her opinion and take myself to my gyn and a pain mgmt. specialist!

I was brought up not to question doctors. Now I find myself perhaps asking too many questions! But now I know I really do have adhesion problems and fibromyalgia. No more thinking it is all in my head!!!!!

Take care. I probably won't be on for a while. I have been dealing with a flare-up and can't tyep much or anything else! Also, the only connection I have is through work and I'm not supposed to use it for personal stuff.
