Maureen, I am sorry about all your problems but you are not alone. In 1994 my dad had his gallbadder removed, in 1996 he had severe side pains and went through 4 different doctors to find someone who knew what the problem was and would operate on the adhesions. For about the last year, year and a half he has had severe diarrhea constantly especially after meals, for about the last 6 months or so he has had severe side pain in the area of his one kidney. Some times the pain spreads to his abdomen. After sleeping and exercise his pain is not as severe. He is now scheduled for ultrasounds and x - rays, the doctors think it might be something more severe than the adhesions. I know it has been a while since you posted your message but I would like to hear how you are doing and if anything else has changed.
