Dear Toni, I'm sorry your are having such a hard time of it. Sometimes it feels like it will never go away and life is just unbearable. I don't know what to say except that we are here and feel the same way a lot of the time. I do remember a few days last year when I felt good. Boy, was I enthusiastic. And I'm not joking. But God gives us this life and we have to live it to the best of our abilities. We may come up short in our own expectations, but its not good to beat yourself up all the time either or get bitter, it just doesn't help. I'm sorry to sound so preachy (I almost said bitter myself without thinking). Anyway, there is so much research being done now that before too long, there will be something to prevent adhesions from coming back. And we will be pain free. I really believe that. Please act like you're cheered up, sometines, you forget and actually feel better. Also, Dr. R and R are not magicians, they are only human beings, and even thought they are good, maybe the best, people who have surgery there still have their adhesions come back. They are not Gods or the answer to all you pain. I still hurt from my surgery there. It's not their fault. It's my body. You also might donload some pain information from the site and take it to your pain specialist and try to get your dosage increased. Tell it like it is and be firm. and Present them with reams of papers concerning the California Pain Act which mandates that your pain be treated adequately. Love and prayers and all good wishes to you, Sally Grigg
