Chrissie, I had a hysterectomy way back in 1987 and never had any spotting. I used to work in the medical profession though for about 10 years total. I know that from that experience they say that bright red blood means that it's coming from somewhere close. Did you have any "activity" that may have caused the spotting? Lesa
