I'm not that far away from you, as I'm just outside of Woodstock, NB. There are several women that I know of from Canada who are in the same boat you and I are, if not worse.
Mary Pomroy and Deborah LeClerc are from Alberta, and I think we have all had a similar fight with the Canadian medical system to try to get treatment for ARD. Mary went to Germany for surgery, and Deborah is in Scranton, PA, right now (?).
The best suggestion I can give you is to read back through the archives and check out the quilt. I know there are other women from the Ottawa area who have posted on the board, and who have put their stories on the quilt, maybe they would have suggestions on knowledgeable doctors in your area. You need to find another doctor who will listen and who will do something.
