Millie, My suggestion for your aliment may sound a little odd but please hear me out. In Traditional Chinese Medicine cherry pit tea is used for healing the stomach and the entire digestive tract. The tea can be made simply by simmering the pits in water. To 2-3 cups of boiling water add a handful of pit and steep for about 20 minutes. The tea doesn't taste bad at all and luckily fresh cherries are available now. Hope it helps. ~Kathleen~
