Excuse me but maybe if you nurses and doctors would educate yourselves on adhesions you would know how to treat us when we come into the emergeny room! As a matter of fact i find that the ER"s are extremly rude, i watched a woman in a well known ER in AZ lose her baby because they thought that she was faking it good lawsuite there! The fact is is that "chrissy" is right what you think its a night out for us? We all are suffering from extreme pain here i'm literally starving myself right now! Adhesions do cause bowel problems it is'nt always IBS which i think that is a cop uot on a dr's point of view! Gosh maybe if these nurses and Doctors would try something like LISTENING TO US its our bodys not thiers, we of all people know whats going on! The 1 thing i love is a dr or nurse giving me stuff i don't need everytime i've gone to the ER they hand my golytle and send me home still in pain and tears in my eyes! yes the golytle works temperoly then back to the same problems! I have been doing this for 7 mos since my hysterectomy last dec,2000> I live on laxatives had almost every test done nothing is wrong bull! Whom ever wrote this it would be nice if you could feel what we feel for just a couple of days, garentee you'll change yor mind! Another thing why don't you come to the board and get to know us befre you judge us and do some research on ADHESIONS! Sincerly Colette Patnaude Tempe az! >
